"Vitalight" is a common branding name for a mini CO2 monitor often found on Amazon.  "Donate A Mask" in Canada offers these rebranded simple but useful** sensors to the US [and the UK/EU] -- their proceeds go to providing free masks & rapid tests to vulnerable people in Canada.  The cost is higher than on some sites, so feel free to price shop.

Compared to other monitors

  • Pro's:   Less expensive, easy to see CO2 level, relatively small, has a sturdy carrying hook/carabiner

  • ** Con's:  Uses auto-calibration which requires careful attention - please read the specifications document linked below (some well-informed air quality advocates call this a deal-breaker).

Also must use USB charger that comes with unit (this was not found by all users however). No display for time, date, temp, or humidity; no app or cloud for saving/tracking data

>> and here is a recent thoughtful review on Twitter of the mini CO2 monitor: "Overall, the device is flawed, but a great option for the price [provided you heed the cautions of calibration!]."
